
Our team of award-winning Landscape Architects and Planners at Northland Design Group specialize in the design, layout, branding and planning of mixed-use and other commercial properties, resorts, urban areas, parks, open spaces and streetscapes. We also design residential developments and landscapes and provide water wise alternatives in designs whenever possible and educate our clients on how they can achieve this.

Jeremy Fillmore ASLA, LLA, Principal
Completing his degree in landscape architecture at Utah State University in 1997, Jeremy went on to Dallas Texas to pursue a land planning career. The following year he realized his passion for landscape architecture and returned to Utah where in 1999 he founded Northland Design Group. He believes every design should be an award winning design for that Client and whether it is residential, commercial or land planning, the end result should be great spaces that are inspiring and are loved by the end user.
He is completing his 3rd year as President for the Utah Chapter of ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects) and has served on many civic and community boards.
Jeremy enjoy spending time with his wife of 16 years and 6 children, traveling, snow skiing and appreciating the inspiring Utah landscape that surrounds him.
Ryan is passionate about good design because he believes that good design enriches lives and deepens memories. His extensive design experience ranges from small intimate spaces to international resorts. Ryan’s enthusiasm and abilities focus on design and illustration.
Ryan previously worked at Jack Johnson Company, a prestigious resort design company in Park City, Utah. He graduated from Utah State University in Landscape Architecture and also received an associates degree in Horticulture from BYU Idaho. Some of the notable projects Ryan has been involved with include: Red Ledges Golf Resort in Heber City, Utah, Valle Nevado Ski Resort in Chile, Hunter Mountain Resort in Hunter, New York, Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, Garibaldi Resort in British Columbia, and Seven Color Dreamland Resort in Fushun, China.
Ryan enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Gus enjoys forming outdoor spaces that make people want to spend their time outside rather than inside. His focus on high detail construction drawings helps achieve clients’ wishes for their outdoor living spaces.
Upon graduation from Utah State University he worked for Landmark Design, a Landscape Architecture and Land planning firm in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gus was heavily involved in designing parks as well as creating construction details and developing GIS maps for city planning projects.
Gus enjoys mountain biking and spending time in his landscape at home.
